A Louth student is on track to qualify for the Kickboxing and Kung Fu World Championships.

Sixteen-year-old Isabelle Leggett who attends King Edward VI Grammar School was due to take part in qualifiers in Manchester this weekend.

The sixth form student from Utterby has been training for eight years and is a member and instructor at BCKA in Louth.

She is a two-time British champion after winning in 2011 and 2012 and is hoping to turn professional in a few years time.
