The second round was hosted by the Lincoln Motor Club, and riding in front of a home crowd, the trial featured three laps of 12 tricky sections along a steep wooded hillside.

Emma was again on top form, producing a faultless ride to take the win with 0 points lost to put her in pole position in the championship campaign with two wins from two starts.

“Today has been a test of my mental strength and I am pleased with my performance,” she said afterwards.

“To ride all day without a single mistake is difficult because some of the sections were not easy; I’m very happy with this win.

“I have been training hard on the natural rocky sections typical of the SSDT so to ride this well out of the water and back on the steep banks is great.”

Emma’s focus will now shift to the Scottish Six Days Trial.

Last year the Alford rider finished as best lady at the event and finished in overall 43rd position.

“I am excited to prepare my bike and get organised to take on the Scottish highlands,” she added.

“I have been training hard for this event. I want to better last year’s overall position and I would love to finish in the top 40.”
