Athletes in city 10k challenge

Nineteen Athletes from Louth AC ran in the 17th Lincoln 10k on Sunday. The weather was kind with cool dry conditions with very light winds, this was the first 10k for three of the athletes with all 19 finishing under the hour.

First in for Louth was Nick Marsh 35.16 hot on his heels was Paul Jackson 35.19, Adam Dalton 38.08, Chris Smith 39.40, Jason Stainton, this was Jason’s first ever 10k with a very impressive time of 40.36, Michael Dean 42.28, first lady for Louth was Debbie Simpson 44.20, Trudy Roberts 46.37, Colin Creasey 47.53, Claire Coslow 51.11, Fiona Lawrie 51.13, Ken Jackson Vet 60+ 51.20, Liza Harkess 53.04, Simon Harrison 54.41, Amanda Young 54.51, Kate Conway 56.21 this was Kate’s first 10k, Jane Cope 56.25, Tracey Gostelow 58.50, Emma Smith 59.47, this was Emma’s first 10k.

Louth AC meets twice a week at 6pm on Tuesdays at Cordeaux High School, and Thursdays at the Meridian Centre.
