Three Mablethorpe Running Club members enjoyed great results at the Cleethorpes Park Run 5km event last weekend.

Malcolm Brine, Janine Stones and Sheryl Hawse were among the 140 entrants for this Saturday morning run.

Malcolm was 5th in 19m 56s (29 seconds away from his PB). Janine was 9th in 20m 18s (1st Female). Sheryl was 12th in 20m 42s (Sheryl set a Vet35 course with this run).

The 35th annual Barton & District AC Cross Country took place in Baysgarth Park at the weekend and Tammy, Archie and Ellie Rainbow were flying the flag for Mablethorpe.

Of the 41 runners in the U11s girls category, Ellie finished 23rd in 10m 03s, while Archie finished ninth in the U13s boys in 16m 34s.

Tammy meanwhile finished 15th of 62 runners in 28m 13s.

The programme runs every Monday throughout March at the clubhouse at 6.30pm.

Simply turn up, or call Paul on 01507 463580 for more information.
