Louth AC youngster Jevon George Jones ran a terrific race to finish in the top five in the under-13 boys event at the Northern Cross Country Championships in Pontefract.

Facing stiff competition from 189 of the north’s top athletes, Jevon ran hard to take fifth place - finishing just 21 seconds behind race winner Joshua Dickinson of City of York AC.
