Budding Andy Murrays can take up mini tennis at Louth Tennis Centre open day

Louth Tennis and Sports Centre is holding a free community open day for existing and potentially new mini tennis players this Friday, May 31 between 9.30am and 11.30am.

The session is being run as part of the LTA mini tennis week. Mini tennis is played with softer, lower bouncing balls on smaller courts with lower nets and is now considered the perfect way to introduce youngsters to the sport.

The centre already has one of the regions most successful mini tennis programmes attracting up to 120 tots and mini players a week, and has the countys highest number of regulary competing juniors - a testament to the clubs mini and junior programmes.

The session will involve games and coaching and will be great fun for all. Also it will be inside on the fantastic indoor courts - so there is no need to be concerned about the weather.

If you think you may be the next Murray or Robson come along to the session. Rackets are available if required.
