Sporty students from Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College took part in a Cross Country Challenge at Hubbard Hills.

The students, from both Louth and Mablethorpe campuses and ranging from Years 7 to 11, competed against other local schools to produce some outstanding results despite the biting cold and pouring rain.

There were some notable performances, Evie Odlin from Year 7, Josh Tarrant from Year 9 and Leah Epton, James Larder, Joe Wrisdale and Jan Meiwald, all from Year 11, have qualified for the next round of the Cross Country Events taking place at RAF Cranwell on January 17.

Mike Eyre, Principal of MDTC, said: “Well done to all of our students who took part in his arduous event. Congratulations and good luck to the seven students who have progressed through to the next round.”
