Harness & Cooper Joiners hold a two points lead at the top after Matt Archer, Mark Storey and Neil Ashwood all won in the 8-4 away win at GRS Electrical Services while Seymour & Castle remain second courtesy of their 7-5 home success over NT Shaw Citroen, Simon Davison and Simon Godfrey kept up the hosts chase of the leaders, Keith Ingamells replied for the visitors.
Castaline are third after beating J.Melton Painters 8-4, Sam Mountain, Dan Blythe and Stephen Kemplay stopped the visitors quest for a third win in a row despite the form of Wes Burton and the spoils were shared between Sibjon Builders and Kitchen Solutions, Phil Williamson and John Mountain were the hosts winners, Keith Aston and Mark Squires did likewise for the away outfit.
That’s more like it from the defending champions Naulls & Dales who kick-started their campaign with Pat O’Reilly, Andy Dunn and Phil Marshall sinking the stuttering ABC Riding Wear 3-0.
Sam Mountain fired in a 62 break for Castaline but couldn’t stop them from going down to a 2-1 defeat to Marris Carpets who took the honours through both Brian Copeland and Kev Fenwick and the leading MA Stephenson Autos came from behind to win 2-1 at Moran Travel, Harry Putland held off Gary Skipworth’s 53 break to put the hosts one up, It didn’t last though as Andre Fisher and Hayden Gavey put the visitors three clear at the top.
