A highly successful Charity Golf day, organised by the Mayor of Louth Councillor Andrew Leonard, was held at Kenwick Golf Club on July 31 with a sell-out entry.

The winners of the Golf Day with 89 points were Lee Bulcock, Sean Howsam, Ron Irwin and Sam Bulcock.

The runners-up were Val Pattinson, Wendy Green, Simon and Di Lidgard were runners-up with 85pts on a countback from John Payne, Howard Fytche, Dan Thompson and Phil Walmsley.

Fourth place was claimed by Ian Flockton, Gus Robertson, Pam Westthorp and Lyn Munro with 80 points.

The event was sponsored by the Mayor and raised thousands of pounds for local charities, as part of the Mayor’s Charities Fund.
