A much improved Louth Under 12 hockey team travelled to Peterborough for a tournament on Sunday and didn’t fail to impress.

In their first game they drew 0-0 with Spalding Lions. Their next game was against a tough Long Sutton side and they managed to come away with a 1-1 draw. Alex Bell scoring Louth’s goal.

Their next match was against Lincoln B. Louth captain Max Greenfield scored and Alex Bell sealed a brace to secure victory.

Louth played their penultimate game against Spalding C. Three goals from Alex Bell, two from Max Greenfield and one from Ross resulted in a 6-0 win.

Louth’s final game came against Bourne and saw Max Greenfield on the score sheet three times with Alex Bell scoring a further two.

In total Louth scored 15 goals and only conceded once.
