Kenwick Park golfer Julia Sales held her Lincolnshire Ladies’ President’s Day at her home club last week.

The day featured the Lincolnshire’s under 18 girls squad, nicknamed the County Chicks, who took part in a fun competition with senior golfers.

They played a texas scramble format, organised by county junior organiser Pat Jones.

There was plenty of good golf with the team of twins Charley and Leah Dennett (Gainsborough Golf Club), county ladies vice- captain Birdie Dawson (Kenwick Park) and Cindy Ireland (Woodhall Spa) winning with an impressive score of 63.4.

* A fantastic turnout of 100-plus golfers bid a fond farewell to their 2016 captains Graham Sykes and Penny Buckley.

The team of Bob and Jane Briggs, Karl Koslow and Graham Jacklin scored an impressive 88 points to win the am-am competition.
