Louth Athletics Club narrowly missed out on a win as they secured two podium positions at the second Skegness 10k.

The race, hosted by the Skegness Coasters running club, attracted a field of 318 runners from as far afield as Manchester and Essex, who set off from Southview Leisure Park in strong winds.

First home was Coaster Ben Evison who completed the course in 34min 37secs, followed by Louth AC pair Adam Dalton (35.09) and Paul Jackson (36.36).

There was a win for Mablethorpe Running Club with Kevin Harrison taking the male vet 60 category prize in a time of 42.03.
