A LOUTH netball team is celebrating promotion after a successful winter season.

The ladies of the Louth Tyre Service team, who play in the Grimsby and District Senior Netball League, can now look forward to competing in division two of the league.

Not only did the team members have to battle against some strong sides from the Grimsby area, they also had to contend with ice, snow and fog as they journeyed up the A16 for their matches.

Congratulations go to Captain Tamalin Goldby and her squad of Alex Sturman, Megan Canter, Ros Canter, Emily Cook, Kim Robinson, Emma Bell, Emma Lingard and Erica Nicholson.

The team, who play in distinctive black and yellow, are very grateful to sponsors Louth Tyre Service of Elsham Park on the Louth industrial estate.

The LTS team Gary Johnson, Trevor and James Wilkinson, Tim Jones, Damien Howe and Matt Johnson, have supported the players for the last couple of seasons and are delighted to join in the celebrations.

They will, of course, be cheering the LTS team on to another success in the Summer League, which starts later this month.
