It has been a very busy three weeks at Louth Tennis and Sports Centre, with 14 teams across all age groups have playing in the local county and regional leagues.
The results have been mixed and outdoor matches have suffered due to the bad weather. Nevertheless, Louth are hopeful that at the end of the season they may still be able to match last year’s record haul of titles.
Great Britain’s Number One junior, Joe Wooley, has been training at the Louth Tennis and Sports Centre during a break due to injury, and he is planning to make his debut for Louth Indoor Men’s 1st team this weekend.
Meanwhile, more than 35 pairs of Wimbledon tickets have been allocated following the club’s Wimbledon Ballot draw. Everyone is extremely excited to be attending the greatest tennis tournament on the planet - especially the three lucky pairs that have received tickets to the men’s final.
