After narrowly missing out on promotion last season thanks to goal difference, the Louth Tyre Service Netball team which plays in Division Three of the Grimsby League has started the new season on a high.

They have won their first match 35-21.

The ladies recently caught up with their generous sponsor Gary Johnson of Louth Tyre Services, who is cheering them on for another year.

The ladies, who play their matches on Mondays and Tuesdays are always keen to attract new recruits, particularly anyone who has an umpiring qualification. Pictured on the back row with Gary (far right) and Trevor Wilkinson (far left) are players (left to right) Emma Bell, Laura Sweeney, Tamalin Goldby (captain) and Erica Nicholson.

Front row: Lindsey Barratt, Megan Brookes, Ros Canter, Alona Duff and Alex Sturman. (missing from the photo are team members Emily cook, Kim Robinson and Chrissy Turner).
