Cadwell Park owner MotorSport Vision is replacing the Mountain Top and Club Hairpin grandstands for the 2015 season with modern stands which will accommodate more spectators.

The previous wooden stands were located at two popular viewing spots at the Lincolnshire circuit. The new Mountain Top grandstand, situated opposite the steep incline, will almost double the old stand’s 100-seat capacity and offers excellent views of the venue’s famous Mountain section.

The new Club Hairpin stand, located between the start line and bridge, hugely increases seating capacity from 140 seats to 356. This grandstand is also easily accessible from the campsite used at the MCE British Superbike Championship’s August round and will be a popular addition for spectators.

Cadwell Park Circuit Manager, Jon Rush, said: “Last year’s 80th anniversary celebrations brought new spectators to the venue and the new stands will enhance viewing opportunities available to visitors from club racing to our annual MCE British Superbike Championship round.

“It’s part of our ongoing commitment to improving facilities at Cadwell Park while also preserving its charm.”

The new stands will be open at most of Cadwell Park’s 2015 race events, and tickets for many of these are now on sale. Entry to the venue at all meetings is free for children aged 12 and under.
