England Squash and Racketball Licensed Coach, Jon Morris has joined the Kenwick Health & Leisure Club team to offer one to one and group squash coaching at the club.

Coaching is available for both children and adults in individual one to one sessions and also small group sessions.

To increase awareness of the Sport at the only Squash facility in Louth, coaching is available to non-members for just £18 for a 60 minute session.

Kenwick is affiliated to England Squash Rackets Association and a team from the club will be competing in the county from September. Five team members will be raising the profile of the town by playing competitively throughout the Lincolnshire county.

General Manager Gemma Leafe said: “Squash is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and by raising the profile of the sport at the club by welcoming Jon onto the team means we can offer coaching to beginners and improvers, through to county level.”

Mini Squash for groups of up to 12 children is the perfect place for young people to gain confidence together. Coach Jon Morris said: “The first steps are for the children to become familiar with holding a racquet, then we will do lots of fun games to increase their confidence.

“We then build their technique and eventually this leads to games on court.”

In the near future there will be an afternoon where top county players will be at the club for people to come and try both Squash and Racketball.

“You can watch the top players in action during an exhibition demonstration match. Date to be announced.
