A record entry lined up for this year’s East Coast Classic 10k in warm conditions on Sunday.
The 10k run reached its 300 capacity well before race day, but with no-shows and those who did not finish, 258 runners completed the course.

Most of the field hailed from Mablethorpe, Skegness, Louth, Cleethorpes and Grimsby, but there were entrants from further afield with an ages spanning 15 through to a veteran runner in his eighties who had completed many races around the world.
