A sponsored race night at Louth Tennis Club has raised more than £1,200.

Junior members Brooke Walker-Smith and Annie Lowther, organised the event to raise money for a trip to Costa Rica in July to work on a sea turtle conservation project.

The project is a unique opportunity for these students to see how animal conservation works in practice. They will be cleaning the beaches, monitoring turtle nests, collecting project data and working in the hatcheries to prepare baby turtles
for their release into the sea.

This trip would not be possible without the generous donations which they received from local sponsors and businesses for this event.

They would like to thank:

Race Sponsors - Allinson Print, Norpol Packaging, Blue Brick Healthcare, Bennetts Butchers - Sutton on Sea. Forrester Boyd, Striarcroft Jewellers and Moncaster Wire.

Raffle Donations - Elysium Beauty Salon, Louth Family Dental Practice, Platinum Estate Agents, R and Y Autos, Re-Inventions, Annika’s Gift Shop, Igloo, Lakings, Wetherspoons, Cojos
and Natureland Seal Sanctuary.
