The Louth Indoor Bowling Club (LIBC) welcomed ex-England cricketer Arran Brindle to their annual trophy presentation evening, where she presented the awards to competition and league players.

Arran Brindle, who recently retired from international cricket when she was a member of the England Ladies Team, entertained LIBC club members with tales of her various exploits during her cricketing career.

Arran went on to congratulate the club on their excellent facilities, and said that Louth was very fortunate to have such a fine sporting facility.

The evening closed with a buffet laid on by the club’s catering team.
