The evening, which was run by club chairman Brian Donner, saw 26 trophies presented by special guest John Richardson, chairman of the Village Snooker League.

Main trophy winners – Snooker Champion: Rick Kirk. Handicap Snooker Champion: Ian Larder. Billiards Champion: Ian Larder. Doubles Handicap Snooker: John Spencely and Alan Pickard. Doubles Billiards: John Souto and John Willows. Ladies’ Champion: Joy Libell.

The club has had a successful year overall and has seen an increase in membership with more than 40 now registered. Anyone interested in joining should contact Brian Donner on (01507) 358629.
