Louth Tri Club were out in force at the David Lloyd Lincoln Triathlon with more than 30 competitors completing the event.
This Spring Triathlon is the first in a series of three that create the Midlands Sprint Triathlon Series.
Louth Tri had four competitors in the top 35, including a third place by Jonathan Bromfield, finishing in 1 hour 2 minutes and 21 seconds, closely followed in sixth place by Ross McGregor just 21 seconds behind. This left them first and second in their age group.
The woman were also represented with Kerry Drewery in 225th place with a time of 1 hour 23 second and 13 second.
Louth Tri Clubs chairman, Simon Sharp said: “The event attracted over 500 competitors we are thrilled to see our members holding their own at these events in only our second season running.”
