Louth racer Richard Pocklington in Legends Cars Championship at Brands Hatch
THERE was a win to start off Louth based Richard Pocklington’s 2012 Legends Cars Championship Campaign at Rounds 1 and 2, at Brands Hatch.
The RaPid Motorsport Team with Richard driving were looking for a solid start to the new season.
Round 1 results: Race one he started 12th finished second, race two he started seventh finished seventh, final race started 15th finished eighth.
Round 2 results: Race one started 15th finished ninth, race two started sixth finished firstwwith a new personal best lap time, final race started 16th finished 13th, avoiding an incident on the first corner forced Richard a long way back.
He is currently sitting fourth in the Drivers’ Championship.
Richard said: “It’s been a great weekend for the team, we believe we have mades some great steps this year and are looking forward to a repeat performance at Silverstone.”
The next event is at Silverstone this weekend.
