Louth Samsung Honda target return to podium at Snetterton 300

LOUTH based Honda head to Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend for the fourth round of the British Superbike Championship as Jon Kirkham and Michael Laverty target a return to the podium.

Laverty is determined to get his title campaign back on track this weekend at the 2.99-mile Norfolk circuit, whilst Kirkham returns following his huge crash at the Oulton Park round as the pair aim to elevate themselves inside the top six in the overall standings.

In the Superstock 1000 Championship Jason O’Halloran is eager to build on his win from the last round at Donington Park and close on the title lead which he currently trails by four points.

Havier Beltran, Team Manager, said: “In the past Snetterton has been one of the tracks that the Honda Fireblade has performed well. Michael showed he had a good pace in the pre-season test there and this really is a weekend where he can turn his championship around, after a couple of disappointing rounds.

It is great that we have JK back this weekend after his huge crash at Oulton Park and he really has his sights set on getting himself inside the top six again. In the Superstock class Jason is confident after winning at Donington Park and will be looking to maintain his podium form. The whole of the Samsung Honda team are motivated and ready for the weekend.”
