Sincil Sports College Lincoln Project at Cordeaux Schoo
Sincil Sports College Lincoln Project sent trainers Michelle Thomas and Simon Dayman to Cordeaux School.
They ran an Inclusion Awareness Workshop for young leaders, the Y9 Sky Living for Sports group and the Y10 Junior Sports Leadership Award students.
This is part of Project Ability which aims to get more young disabled pupils taking part in competitive sport through a network of 50 lead Project Ability schools in England.
Both groups were introduced to two new sports that were played in the Paralympics – goal ball (where the ball can travel up to 60mph!) and sitting volleyball.
This is further preparation for two sports festivals that will be taking place in May, to be run by the Y9 Sports leaders.
