They’ve done it, operatic boyband, featuring former Louth student Thomas Leak won tonight’s Britain Got Talent semi final and are through to the final.

Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Elesha Dixon gave the boys a standing ovation and the public ranked them top of the eight acts.

The band of five young hopefuls includes Saltfleetby singer Thomas Leak (stage name Thomas J Redgrave).

The 24-year-old (pictured in white) was educated at Monks Dyke Tennyson College and King Edward VI Grammar School, but he now lives in Ealing, London.

Collabro was featured on the first week of the show and received a standing ovation from all the audience.

Illusionist Darcey Oake followed the boys through and both will now appear in the live grand final on Saturday June 7.
