April saw the annual meeting of the WI, when the last year's activities were reviewed.

The committee was re-elected, with the addition of Pauline Devane. Caroline Feit stepped down from the committee.

Dianne Tuckett was elected as president for the coming year.

After the business, and as there have been a number of new members over the past year, there was a chance to get to know people over refreshments.

The next meeting will be in the village hall on Wednesday, May 4, when this year’s resolutions will be discussed.

ZaZa Warren from St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice will also be speaking about the work of the hospice.

Meetings are held in the village hall, starting at 7.30pm.
