There’s a few funny looking characters around the village of Fotherby this week.
The annual scarecrow festival culminates this Saturday, June 28, in a Midsummer Fete in the centre of the village when there will be birds of prey, a fun dog show, jazz band, face painter and much, much more.
The scarecrows are dotted all over the village and organisers hope to have more than 100 on show by this weekend.
Steve Mansfield, Chairman of Fotherby Jubilee Committee, said: “We never have a theme, or a winner so there is never any direct competition. If you have something to stuff, do it and display it for everyone to see. It’s as simple as that.”
The Midsummer Fete at Manna Farm, Fotherby, runs this Saturday 2pm to 4.30pm.
