LOCAL residents teamed up to take their four-legged friends for a long walk on Saturday afternoon, in the hope of tiring the dogs out to ensure a peaceful bonfire night.

Louth and District Dog Club Secretary Carol Mortimer organised the walk which set off from Mablethorpe’s Sea View car park.

At the end the exhausted dogs went home to sleep soundly for the evening as the fireworks began to be let off in the town.

James Wellbeloved kindly provided doggy bags for the walking group.
