Inspector Morse - The House of Ghosts tour will be making a stop off for a show at the Riverhead Theatre in Louth on Friday, March 27.

Colin Dexter’s eponymous sleuth made famous by the late, great John Thaw returns to the stage in this original play written by Alma Cullen, author of several episodes of the original TV series.

Opening with a performance from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, a young professional actress dies suddenly mid-performance. Inspector Morse is immediately on the scene, having been in the audience. The stage is cordoned off and becomes a fully fledged murder scene. The plot delves deep into Morse’s past as a student in Oxford, uniting him with ‘ghosts’ from his past. The Riverhead Theatre will be the first venue for tour by Baroque Theatre Company. The performance starts at 7.30pm and Tickets are £12, call the box office on 01507 600350.
