Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without ‘Miracle on 34th Street,’ featuring Sir Dickie Attenborough as Kris Kringle, a kindly bearded old man who says he’s the real Santa Claus.

Begin the festivities early, with this family favourite which has an early showing next week at the Grimsby Auditorium Monday to Wednesday as part of a UK tour.

The cast features James Murphy as Kris Kringle, who plays the store Santa, who claims he’s the real Father Christmas, by spreading his love through New York.

Inez Mackenzie plays Doris and Ceris Hine is Susan, the young girl who dreams of a father and brother to make her family whole.

This dazzling musical adaptation is an uplifting family tale of battling cynicism and learning what it truly means to believe. The performances are at 7.30pm Monday to Wednesday, with a 1pm matinee on Wednesday. Tickets are £17.50, £19.50, and £21.50 with £3 off for concessions. Family tickets are £60.
