MABLETHORPE’S very own rapper is hoping to hit the right note as he and his music partner take their sounds to London.
Twenty-year-old Paul Hollingsworth (below), known as Pizzle, lives in Mablethorpe and recently headlined Scarborough’s Staxtonbury festival collaborating with acoustic maestro Harry David.
Paul, who will graduate with a 2:1 in Creative Music Technology from Hull University this week, is setting his sights on London as he aims to take his rap to the top.
Three thousand people saw Paul and Harry at the Scarborough event, and he is also being covered by BBC Introducing who spot young music talent over the next few weeks.
Paul said: “I’m hoping we can get lucky in London or another big city, our set at Scarborough went down really well in front of such a big crowd.”
Paul’s latest tracks, Where We Belong and Irreplaceable can be seen at www.youtube.com/pizzleuk or visit soundcloud.com/megamorph.
