TEN YEARS AGO: Skegness amateur dramatic group get set to stage ‘tale as old as time’

The amateur dramatic troupe had been rehearsing all summer for its upcoming musical version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The production would run for three days in November at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness.

STAGE chairman Wendy Richards said: “We chose Beauty and the Beast to try and encourage some of the younger members to get involved and so that families can relate to it because it’s such a well-known show.”
