Armed Forces Day flag raised in town

Veterans, civic dignitaries and residents gathered in Sleaford Market Place to see the Armed Forces Day flag raised on Monday.

It marks the lead up to Armed Forces Day on June 24, when people give thanks for their contribution to community life.

The ceremony led by Rev Philip Johnson included pupils of Church Lane School and the Winchelsea School choir from Ruskington.
