The A153 Grantham Road was closed near Sleaford after a double decker bus caught fire yesterday (Tuesday) evening.

Crews from Sleaford and Grantham were called to bus stop at Greylees where the bus had burst into flames opposite the petrol station.

They hosed down the fire wearing breathing apparatus but the engine bay of the vehicle was reported to have been severely damaged and the rest of it was affected badly by heat and smoke.
