Octogenarian thanked for charitable birthday wish
A Metheringham octogenarian has raised more than half a grand for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Rather than birthday presents for her 80th birthday, Ros Bell, pictured centre, asked her friends and family for donations to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
She raised a fantastic £575 for the life-saving charity.
The cheque was accepted by the charity’s collection box co-ordinator Rachel Hay, pictured left, and community fundraiser Faye Nam, pictured right.
