UPDATE: Cyclist dies after collision with van

UPDATE (Wednesday April 1) - Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that a 50-year-old male cyclist has died following a collision with a van last week.

Investigating officers would like to speak with anyone who witnessed this collision or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the location at the time.

Call 101, quoting incident number 100 of March 23 if you have any information.

Lincolnshire Police are dealing with a collision involving a van and cyclist on the A1104 Snape Hill at Saleby, near Alford.

The male cyclist has been air lifted to hospital after receiving serious injuries.

The road has been closed and diversions are in place.

This collision was reported to the emergency services just after 11am today.

• Any witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting incident 100 of March 23.
