Straw fire on trailer in Mareham le Fen
Firefighters were scrambled to a blaze on Main Street in Mareham le Fen last night (Tuesday).
The fire occurred at 11.30pm and involved 15 tonnes of baled straw and a 40ft trailer, which were “well alight”.
Firefighters from Horncastle used one hose reel, and two hay drags and allowed the fire to burn itself out.
