To mark Christmas Jumper Day on December 13, major dealer network Evans Halshaw has launched a customisation programme that’s up there with the £200,000 car key in the list of 2019’s most pointless and expensive car accessories.
While most people settle for pulling on some festive-themed knitwear to help raise money for Save the Children, those with more cash than sense can outfit their car in a similar way thanks to the wonder of temporary vinyl wrapping.
In an offer that’s likely to see absolutely zero customer interest, motorists who fancy going all-in can choose from three different designs, all inspired by Christmas jumpers and wrapping paper.
Prices for the customisation, which involves applying a patterned vinyl coating to a cars’ exterior panels, start at £2,500.
The process, should you be feeling brave, will be carried out by Evans Halshaw’s vinyl graphics specialists in Manchester. Apparently, the coating is durable enough to enable owners to spread Christmas joy all year round.
