Annual mayor’s parade in Louth this Sunday

This Sunday sees the annual mayor’s parade through Louth, starting from the Cornmarket.

This year the Banovallum Brass Band will be seated in the Cornmarket near to HSBC and they will provide background music before and after the parade. The parade will be led by the 1228 (Louth) Squadron ATC Drummers and will march off at around 10.30am moving up Mercer Row, right onto Upgate and into St James’s Church.

The church service at St James’s will begin at 11am and will finish at 11.45am with St Michael’s C of E School Choir participating in the service.

All parents of participating paraders and children are welcome to attend the church service and the subsequent parade will leave the church at 11.55am and its route back to the Cornmarket will be reversed.
