TWO great shows with international aritsts will be taking place over the next couple of weeks at the New Orleans Jazz club attic, Queen Street, Lout.
The 2009 Canadian Folk Music Artist of the Year Catherine Maclellan will be playing on Wednesday November 16 from 8pm.
Catherine MacLellan is a talented singer/songwriter bringing together a memorable blend of heartfelt and powerfully introspective lyrics and catchy melodies. She is playing Louth to promote her brand new album Silhouette, which has been heavily supported by BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris.
The acclaimed two piece rock and roll group Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby are also coming to the New Orleans Jazz Attic, on Wednesday November 23 at 8pm.
Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby have individually been making distinctive and original music for decades, he a British iconoclast and wild-card survivor of the early Stiff Records, she as a long-standing heroine of the New York pop scene.
Their debut album Wreckless Eric & Amy Rigby enjoyed rapturous critical acclaim in the USA and has been the subject of a four star review in Mojo magazine.
