French director’s Rust and Bone next up at Louth Film Club

On Monday, April 22, at the Playhouse Cinema, Louth Film Club will be showing Rust And Bone, the latest film from the highly regarded French director and screenwriter Jacques Audiard.

Marion Cotillard and Matthias Schoenaerts put in powerful performances as a trainer of killer whales and a night club bouncer who meet during a brawl at his night club and are later brought together by a tragedy.

Set in the south of France and in French (with subtitles) and English, Rust And Bone is Certificate 15. The show starts at 7.30pm. Non-members are welcome, paying the normal Playhouse Cinema ticket prices.

The club’s programme of films up to January 2014, is available, free, from Off The Beaten Tracks record shop at 36 Aswell Street, Louth or from the Playhouse Cinema, Louth Library or the Tourist Information Office.
