Local family support charity Home-Start is calling people along to a gig at the Kings Head on Friday November 30, from 7.30pm.
It will be a night of live music and dance, donated by an inspiring mix of Louth’s musical talent.
The evening will begin with Karl Lomas, a two man acoustic performance with original music and popular covers.
Then the night will take a more bluesy turn with The Dave Simpson Trio, a blues based rock band playing their debut performance for Home-Start with some originals and covers from such artists as Jimi Hendrix, Joe Bonamassa, Rory Gallagher and Jeff Healey.
The evening will then continue with the DJs of Mothership ‘commanding you to dance’ to an eclectic mix including new alternative dance and old school classics.
Kat Bishop, Home-Start fundraising volunteer, said: “We would like to thank all our supporters for helping us make it happen: the Kings Head for the venue, the bands for donating their time and talent and the local businesses who has supported including Northcore surf ware, Boneshakers tattoo parlour and Bollywood Fusion restaurant.”
Home-Start East Lindsey provides support to over 120 families each year.
Tickets for the charity gig are available at £3.50 in advance from Off the Beaten Tracks Records, Aswell Street, Louth Tel. 01507 607077 and £4.50 on the door.
