A Summer Fete and Live Music event is being held at the Northcote Heavy Horse Centre, Spilsby, on Saturday June 22.
The fete is one of the major fundraisers for the sanctuary which is a registered charity and provides forever homes to horses and ponies that need their help.
The sanctuary has been running for 24 years and these types of events really help to boost the much needed income in order to care for the big and small horses that live at the charity’s home.
This year’s fete will also be hosting some live music from local musicians, and the music side of the day has been kindly organised by The Bell Pub at Halton Holegate who will also be running their outside licensed bar on the day too.
In addition there will be displays and demonstrations from the centre’s own horses as well as Falconer Derek Tindall and his fabulous Birds Of Prey. There will be stalls and food, traditional games, have a go archery and more.
The gates open at 10.45am and the day goes on into the evening. Admission for the entire event is £5 adults and £3 child/OAP.
