Trusthorpe garden fete proves a hit

THE SUN came out for Trusthorpe Allotment Gardens Association’s recent garden show and fete.

The RNLI, LIVES and Mablethorpe Football Club also turned out to help boost their funds.

The winners were Kaelin Brown in the juniors, Jill Hall’s victoria sponge, Tim Higham’s preserves, Steven White’s seed tray, Bernard Smith’s Forty Winks Cup for best rose and Cullen Salver for best flowers.

Trevor Marshall picked up The Kedian Cup for Sweet Peas and joint winners for The Bill Hall Shield for best kept allotment were Pat Locke and Derek and Christine Williams.

The Ernie Locke Memorial Cup was won by Joe Gray.
