The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway will be holding a Victorian Day at Ludborough station on Sunday April 14 - and visitors are invited to dress in period costume.
The train will be pulled by a unique steam locomotive from the Victorian era, Aspinall Class 27 0-6-0 number 1300, built for the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway in 1896.
“No. 1300 was brought to Ludborough specially for our Easter Gala and this will be the last chance for visitors to see this special loco in action before it returns home to the Ribble Steam Railway at Preston,” said spokesman Phil Eldridge.
