BANISH the winter blues, dust off the cobwebs and enjoy some sea air with two coastal walks.
Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park have two walks remaining in their winter calendar.
The Winter Coast walk is on Sunday, November 27 and takes in the coast looking at seasonal shrubs, berries and birds. It starts at 12.30pm at Anderby Creek car park.
The second walk, Exploring the Coast is on Sunday, December 4 from 10.30am at the car park. This walk will incorporate wildlife, the heritage of the coast and farmland.
Matthew Davey, Environment and Community Projects Officer, said: “Both walks are about 2.5 miles and will be at a leisurely pace taking roughly one and half hours. You will experience the best of the wild unspoilt Lincolnshire Coast and may see some of the areas famous flocks of overwintering lapwings and golden plovers.”
“Wrap up warm and come to explore what Lincolnshire’s countryside has to offer this winter. Learn from experienced guides as they point out things you may not have spotted before and feel free to ask them questions to find out more about local birds and wildlife.”
