A £1,000 ELDC grant for Utterby St Andrew’s Heritage Project towards the restoration of the 1849 stained glass window, which is in a ‘precarious’ state, was arranged by Coun Brian Burnett.

The window, situated at St Andrew’s Church, Utterby, was made by Thomas Willement of London.

When recently inspected, the window was found to be in a precarious and deteriorating condition.

The restoration of the stained glass window is part of a wider project to restore the church to be used for heritage and community events.
