10-year-old bitten by a dog in Mablethorpe

A 10-year-old child has been bitten by a dog today (Monday, February 24) in Mablethorpe and police are trying to trace the dog owner.

PCSO Spence is investigating the incident that occurred at approximately 2.30pm today near Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary in Quebec Road, Mablethorpe.

The 10-year-old who was running on the beach with their brother, was bitten by a Border Collie dog on their back and arm.

Police have confirmed that the female owner did stop at the scene and apologised to the 10-year-old child and their brother, so the Police were not called at the time of the incident so no details were taken.

PCSO 2314 Spence from Lincolnshire Police needs to trace the dog owner so the owner can assist Police with their investigation.
