Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A18 near Ludborough that left the road closed for almost seven hours.
The crash took place at around 5.15pm on Friday 26th July 2013 on the A18 at the junction with Barton Street about half a mile west of Ludborough.
It involved a silver Honda Fireblade motorcycle and a silver Mitsubishi car.
The motorcycle rider, a 52-year-old man from the Driffield area, was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary with leg and abdumen injuries he remains at the hsopital in intensive care.
The car driver a 27-year-old man from Winterton was treated for minor injuries at the Princess Diana Hospital in Grimsby and released.
PC Rich Precious of the Lincs Police Road Policing Unit is investigating the cause of the collision. He is keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash or either of the machines involved being ridden or driven prior to the incident.
